Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor – to provide scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Jacob Bucklin became the first Folds of Honor scholarship recipient in 2007.
A message from Curtis
“I wake up everyday reflecting on what I am grateful for to give myself a better perspective & attitude. I really put things into perspective when I am whining on how hard my day may be or complaining about everything I have to do. It serves as constant reminder to be grateful for my freedom and opportunity to do and become anything.
I acknowledge I have these options because of the great men and women who are willing to support and protect our freedoms. These men and women are willing to sacrifice everything. The least I can do is always seek to say thank you to them, to maximize every opportunity I am given, and look to pay it forward. It is within that sentiment that I chose FOLDS of HONOR!
At IMG academ, I was surrounded by peers who come from all different countries. What amazes me is that it seems that their value in freedom far surpasses many who I meet in this country. I guess they see more examples of people who are not free. All of them - from several countries - were happy to support Our Patriot Golf Day and Folds of Honor. They felt honored and humbled to participate.”
